This study is a practical first step towards future projects with an emphasis on the economical production of an effective mushroom extract with immunomodulatory capability in human trial clinical trials, especially where the goal is to prevent or reduce the progression of severe pulmonary inflammation in patients such as with Covid-19 disease.
